Brownberrie Lane Pre-School is a local pre-school for children aged two and a half to five in the Horsforth area of North Leeds.
Situated on Brownberrie Lane, the pre-school is run by a voluntary management committee and a part time staff, the pre-school provides a friendly, caring and stimulating environment in which children can feel safe and secure and be themselves. With a dedicated SENCO (special educational needs coordinator), the pre-school is also in the unusual position of being able to welcome children with special needs.
The pre-school has recently become affiliated with West Brook Lane Primary school, and enjoys strong links with the school, the older children regularly coming into contact with staff with whom they will spend their reception years.
